The RRES faculty, staff, and families would like to welcome Mr. Darius Gillespie as the new principal of Raleigh Road Elementary!
Mr. Gillespie most recently served as principal of Montclair Elementary School. He began working with CCS in 2014 as a social studies teacher at Anne Chesnutt Middle School and also served as an assistant principal at Montclair Elementary School.
Mr. Gillespie earned his Master of School Administration from Fayetteville State University in 2019.
Mr. Gillespie will be on campus beginning in mid September.
Mrs. Jane Barnes will continue to serve as interim principal until he arrives.
