Educational Background: I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in Social Studies and a minor in Language Arts from Fayetteville State University. I later earned a Master of Arts in Middle Grades Education (Social Studies) from Fayetteville State University and a Master of School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I completed my doctor of Education at Fayetteville State University, where my research focused on educational leadership and "Exploring the Lived Experience of Black Female Principals in Title I Schools".

Educational Philosophy: All students can succeed academically, socially, and emotionally if they are placed in the right environment to learn. Excellence begins with believing in every child and refusing to lower expectations.

Leadership Mission: I want to create an excellent environment where my staff wants to work and my students want to learn. “ Everything we do, we do it with “Excellence”!

Leadership Vision: New Century International Middle School will be the place that parents will send their students to gain a true global experience. My goal is to be the leader/ principal that I would want to work for.
