Pajama Boy

But Mom, I AM ready for school! It’s PAJAMA DAY!

Yee Haw!  Our Raleigh Road Colts have read 40,000 books/chapters for the Reading Rodeo program, so it’s time to celebrate with PAJAMA DAY!  Thursday, February 8 is the day!  Remember, you still need to brush your teeth, wash your face, comb your hair, and wear shoes (no slippers or Crocs).

Keep reading every night and logging your books.  Let’s make sure we reach the 80,000 book goal by May 18 so you can help Mr. Fred “ketchup” on his reading!  We’d love to see our Colts in the green pasture cover our one and only Mr. Fred in all that glorious, red ketchup.  And if you reach 90,000 books, then ALL students can Silly String Mrs. Beavers!

You can do it!  Reading ROCKS at Raleigh Road!

Girl with colorful hair

Due to inclement weather and missed days we will have Crazy Hair day this Wednesday, the 24th.

Congratulations to our Raleigh Road readers!  It’s time for students to get creative and come up with the craziest hair in celebration of surpassing 30,000 books read for our Reading Rodeo.  We are on our way to reaching our 90,000 goal, and we are celebrating each milestone along the way.  Show your school spirit and love of reading by wearing your craziest hair style on Wednesday, January 17th.

There are 120 Colts on the Reading Rodeo board. Keep reading and logging those books/chapters into the Reading Logs. And remember, we will have a dance if we can get all students on the Reading Rodeo board by the 100th day of school!
